Therapeutic modalities
Individual therapy for teens and adults
A confidential and supportive space for individuals to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, ultimately aiming to improve self-awareness, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
I often integrate different therapeutic techniques to tailor the treatment to the patient’s individual needs. My goal is to promote significant personal growth and long-term changes in behavior and personality.
Family Therapy
My family therapy approach focuses on the dynamics of family relationships and how they contribute to the individual psychological problems.
My aim is to improve family functioning by establishing healthy boundaries and defining roles and hierarchies, creating a more balanced system that can better handle stress and challenges.
Play Therapy for Children
In this treatment modality, play is used as a means of helping children communicate and express their thoughts and feelings. It addresses a variety of childhood challenges like behavioral problems, trauma, and emotional difficulties, as well as family disruptions.
Play therapy often helps children build self-esteem, develop healthy coping skills, improve behavior, and have a better understanding of their feelings.
Parent Guidance Therapy
This treatment approach aims to provide parents with tools and strategies to improve their parenting skills and address issues impacting their child’s development and well-being.
It can be a beneficial option when parents are struggling with managing their child’s behavior, facing challenges in the parent-child relationship, or experiencing difficulties in their own parenting style.
Psychological Assessments
A psychological assessment offers a comprehensive evaluation of a person’s mental health, behavior and abilities, using a variety of methods, including tests, clinical interviews, and observations.
It can be used to diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, or assess progress.
Couples Therapy
In couples therapy, a safe space is created for couples to explore their relationship dynamics, develop healthy communication skills, learn conflict resolution techniques, and strengthen the emotional bond between partners.
My goal is to help couples understand each other’s needs and perspectives, promoting emotional awareness and empathy.
